Aimsio Budget & Contract Values lets you set original and amended contract values, assign phase-level budgets via WBS, and compare those values to actuals flowing in from field tickets. It supports three budget entry approaches and tracks metrics like remaining budget, budget spent percentage, planned margin, and earned value.
Aimsio tracks contract values using three fields: Original Contract Value, Changes to Contract Value, and Amended Contract Value. Changes can be entered manually or, when configured, calculated automatically from approved change orders, giving you a clear record of how the contract value has evolved over the life of the job.
You can enter budget as a lump sum per WBS activity, break it down by billing category per phase, or use the Budgeting Tab for a full resource-level breakdown. The Budgeting Tab is the most detailed option. It lets you enter planned quantities and costs for every resource type and can automatically calculate contract values based on the budget data you enter.
Actuals update as field work is recorded on tickets and timecards. Aimsio automatically tallies costs at the parent WBS level so your budget metrics reflect the current state of the job without any manual reconciliation.
It can, when configured to do so. In the WBS Configuration settings, you can set Aimsio to automatically apply approved change order values to your contract and budget. If this is not configured, changes can be entered manually.
Yes. From the WBS Schedule tab, use the Export with Budgeting Data option to download your budget information. This includes planned versus actual quantities, budget spent, remaining budget, and other financial metrics, all ready to share with stakeholders or use in external reporting.
