Access Management
Control who sees what. Down to the role.
When everyone has access to everything, mistakes happen and sensitive data leaks. Aimsio provides six configurable roles with precise permissions so the right people see the right data.
Before & After
What changes when you implement structured access control
Without Structured Access Control
- Everyone sees everything - Billing rates, client contacts, and margin data visible to field crews who don't need it.
- Anyone can approve - No workflow controls mean unauthorized approvals slip through, leading to billing errors.
- No visibility into who does what - Without role-based restrictions, you can't control or track which team members access sensitive data.
- One-size settings hurt everyone - Either too permissive for security or too restrictive for productivity.
With Aimsio Access Management
- Your sensitive data stays protected - Only the people who need access get it, based on their exact role in your operation.
- Controlled actions per role - Restrict who can view, create, edit, delete, or approve forms and records so unauthorized changes never slip through.
- One system, complete control - Input all your data into Aimsio while controlling exactly which users can see specific information.
- Six configurable roles for your team - Roles cover common archetypes like field operators, project managers, accounting, and admin so permissions match real responsibilities.
Core Capabilities
Comprehensive permissions across the entire platform
Six configurable roles control what each user can see and do - from menu access to individual form fields.
Six Configurable Roles
Aimsio provides six configurable roles designed to cover the most common user archetypes on your team, from field operators to accounting. Users can also hold more than one role when their duties span multiple business functions.
Form Field Visibility
Hide or make individual form fields read-only based on role. Sensitive billing information and financial data stays out of view for those who don't need it.
Read-Only Master Data Access
Give users visibility into Master Data settings like billable items and contacts without editing permissions. Useful for project managers who need to reference rates without changing them.
Action-Level Restrictions
Control who can view, create, edit, delete, re-open, or approve forms and records. Prevent unauthorized changes without blocking day-to-day workflow.
Listing Page Controls
Control which columns, filters, row actions, and bulk actions each role can access on every listing page - from Estimates to Tickets.
Report Center Permissions
Grant or restrict access to individual reports and report columns in the Report Center, so each role sees only the data relevant to them.
